A week or so before Thanksgiving I did some end-of-year yard cleanup and decided to pull out a vine that was climbing up the siding. Big mistake! I soon had a lovely rash on my wrist and on my leg.
Beware of the vines with hairy roots on them – bad!

Peace Donna~I am new to your blog. I was recommended by Amy at This Cross I Embrace.
ReplyDeleteWe went on a nature hike a few weeks ago at a nature center. There was a fuzzy thick vine climbing one of the trees...made you want to reach out and touch it. Thank goodness the guide stopped us...poison ivy! Who would of thought.
Have a blessed week.
I didn't know that...good tip. Although, how does one know that a vine is Poison Ivy if there are no leaves...ugh!
ReplyDeleteUgh! That just doesn't seem fair! Hope you are feeling better!
ReplyDeleteI'm with KT; I can barely recognize poison ivy WITH the leaves. Don't know what to think about trying to just figure out the vine! I hope your rash cleared up quickly!
